MBOT: Pioneering Professional Recognition and Registration
MBOT, established under the Technologists & Technicians Act 2015 (Act 768), is the cornerstone of professional recognition for Technologists and Certified Technicians. Initiated based on the Tenth Malaysia Plan’s vision, we exist to register and celebrate the achievements of graduates in technology and skills. Our mission is clear: to uplift the status of technologists and technicians in Malaysia.

Graduate Technologist (GT)
It is an entry level registration in MBOT for candidates with a Bachelor Degree or higher in the related technology and technical Fields recognized by the Board.
Qualified Technicians (QT)
It is an entry level registration in MBOT for candidates with a Bachelor Degree or higher in the related technology and technical Fields recognized by the Board.
Professional Technologists (Ts)
Graduate Technologists may apply to be a Professional Technologists after obtaining a practical experience which is determined by the Board
Certified Technicians (Tc)
Qualified Technicians may apply to be a Certified Technicians after obtaining a practical experience which is determined by the Board
